Born in Niles Michigan on September 27, 1957, I was a product of Generation X, the 'baby-boomers', looking back on it, my parents where fornicating right around the celebrated Christmas holidays...giving themselves one of the most precious gifts you could give yourself, a child.
My parents had one child before me, my brother, Jim, who is way more than a brother...he is my best friend, my mentor, and the one person that I trust with absolutely no doubt. Me and my brother are 18 months apart from each other in age.
Five years later my parents planned to have two more children and along came the first of two sisters of mine, the first being Stacy and 19 months later, my parents youngest daughter Shelly.
I started working at the age of 13 with a paper route in my hometown and have continued employment
throughout my life until around the year 2000, when after numerous catastrophic events put m permanently unemployed. The events of my employment I will chronicle in a later 'blog'.
Btw, my loving parents got married in 1953, in their hometown of Niles Michigan. They are still married, 58 years, and have lived in the their home on East Main Street since 1964. They are both still alive and in good health considering their ages of 76 and 82 years.
They have lived in their current house for the last 50 years and it is where I call "home".
